Renovation of Courtyard House, Eye, Suffolk
Listed Building Planning Consent was required for this new courtyard house located in the grounds of a Regency villa.
Taking advantage of a south facing slope running down to a wooded stream, the floor plan was arranged around an open courtyard, providing outdoor shelter and privacy.
The design also included two bedrooms at ground floor level opening onto the courtyard, a third bedroom on the first floor and a gallery overlooking the living area.
